Jib furler line cleat question

My jib furler line typically just drags in the water aimlessly when the jib is unfurled - there doesn't appear to be a cleat set aside for it on the forward beam furled or unfurled. Could someone post up or send me a pic of their setup so that I can see where it should go?

I use a
Harken Micro Cam-Matic II Cam Cleat with a top plastic fairlead and front stainless wire fairlead. It is mounted about 1.5 feet from the mast on the starboard side with appropriately sized screws and nyloc nuts.

Perfect - I have a leftover Ronstan micro block w/fairlead that I'll press into service.

You mention screws but you also mention nylock nuts - have you got it bolted to the beam or just screwed in using SS metal screws?

If the former - how did you get the nuts all the way into the beam to connect up to the bolts through the micro block?

I used screws with nyloc nuts. I put the nuts on a breaker bar taped to a stick, then used a screw gun with a clutch to tighten then down. Two person operation, but not a difficult job.
