Securing Battens

Post by Kevin Keller »

I am wondering what the best way to tie battens in to the pockets is. My battens have the hole at the end, not a cleat. The sail has a grommet on either side of the pocket. Some of my battens I can't seem to get tight enough. Pictures would help. I'll try to post a picture later.

Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,

Here is how we tie the battens. You can tuck the loose tails back in the batten pocket next to the batten when your finished
