Here is a 19 for sale. I have some questions about this that you all will be able to answer.
This 19 does not appear to have diamond wires/speakers and maybe not dagger boards. Can someone shed some light on that?
I thought the 19s should have both of those.

Re: SC 19 for sale
I am 99% certain that is a SC17, not a 19...

That's what I thought too, but a closer look clearly shows -19 decals. They don't appear to be factory decals but it's really odd someone would put them on a 17.

Re: SC 19 for sale
I looked at the photos again and it "may" be a 19.
1) Those are the original Boston Whaler factory logos that say Super Cat 19.
2) If you look closely at the photo from the rear of the boat, the daggerboard trunk may be visible on the port hull. Really hard to tell
3) Some of the very first SC19's were built without spreaders. In fact the first one we had in Minnesota did not have spreaders, but after sailing it a bit it was noted that the mast would look like pretzel in moderate winds. Shortly after sending some photos of this to Boston Whaler they added spreaders to the SC19.

Re: SC 19 for sale
I think I could see the dagger board slot too but it's very vague. I guess that early of a 19 without spreaders might not be the best boat out there.

Dan Berger,
Sailing NCandSC might be looking. I don't really know, but the 17 he asked about didn't look so hot.
