Hey folks, I need a wind vane and was thinking fo the Telo-Cat unit to go on the bridle. Will this unit work for my roller-furling setup on my SC17?
thanks,
Ultra

Re: Wind bridle vane recommendation
In the past people have modified the Telo-Cat mounting arm so it attached to the shackle below the roller furling drum. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this setup.
That being said, one of the best wind indicators is cassette tape or tell-tale material taped to the bridle wires. It is much more responsive to light wind changes then the telo-cat.

I prefer to use John Denver tapes, they are pretty fast. Karen Carpenter is good too.
