Another great weekend on the rivah

Well it was another great weekend on the Rappahannock River in Virginia. The regatta in Farnham was spot on with all the classic bumping and grinding of a NASCAR event. 3 Suercat 15 went at it in the open class against a few NACRA 5.7's and Hobie 18's and a Hobie 14uni. There was a Prindal 18 as well but not sure it raced. The Supercats place 1st, 2nd and 6th after adjusted out times. Two Hobie 16's collided at a pretty good clip that I saw. I T-boned a Hobie 16 that failed to give right away. I will say I am glad I was on my SC15. The last 2 pics are of my T-Bone results. If I capture any other pictures out of the video I will post to this thread.

wow, it's cool to get a few of these old tubs together.
I wish there were more around here, I know of 3 or 4 19's, but their owners seem to like yard-art rather than sailing.

Yeah it was a good time. If I get down there again you will have me to sail with for sure man !!! If you need crew shoot me a call on here to I will see what I can do. I still need a paint job on my SC19. I am looking for a red jib sail for it as well. what was the place you got your jib made at? You told me about it in Galveston.
