Avibank Pin
So the stainless wire securing the pins has deteriorated over the past 30 years to the point where it has actually broken on one of them. 30 years seems like a good long service life, I'm not complaining, but is the stainless wire what is now being used to attach the pins to the shroud extenders on new cats?

Re: Avibank Pin
I just took some plastic covered stainless steel fishing line and some wire crimps and made new ones.

Re: Avibank Pin
I think I picked up a crimper at Walmart or something like that in the fishing section and made them.
Re: Avibank Pin
I just used regular monofilament. about 80lb leader material. The crimps are the same as the ones used to make leaders for gamefish rigs.
