protecting new paint

hey guy's looking for a source or product to apply to newly painted hulls to prevent keel edge, just finished refairing painting sc 20 hulls looking for 2 or 3 inch clear tape much like keel guard for power boat keels but no where as thick, one side adhesive tape. any body used it or know of any thing just trying to protect my new paint???? thanks andrew

well it took some searching but i found a product used for helicopter,and aircraft blades. 3 or 4 inch 8mil or 14mil, I ran a strip down the length of both hulls. to protect the awl grip on the trailer and whatever might want to scratch the paint,and both edges inside the dagger trunk,just being over protective but just finished a three year rebuild on this boat do not want to have to repaint or powder coat any thing for a while.the site is on find tape .com just a note for anybody looking for parts for a 20 tr all the old parts will be coming up on for sale forum.sails,rigging,tramps,rudders, as soon as i get photo,s of everything,
