is there a difference in height between the 17 and 19's mast?

Depends on what vintage boat your talking about.
The standard or original SuperCat 19 shared the same mast height (28' 9") with the 17. The only difference between the 17 & 19 masts was that the 19 has diamond spreaders and the 17 did not. Later on when the 19XL was introduced the mast height was increased to 33' and the boat was widened to 8' 6".
