I verified all the rigging with Aquarius this past week after the 12 inch pigtail was too long. Every dimension on the boat and rigging matched factory specifications. With that determined, Aquarius sent me an 8 inch pigtail, and I rigged it and it worked perfectly. I'm three holes up from the bottom of the forestay adjuster and pinned the side stays in the middle on their adjusters. I could likely rig it a bit tighter, but I think the manual says this is a good setup for light to medium winds.DrPepper wrote:All of the new rigging I bought from Aquarius matched the original in length except for the pigtail. My original is 7" while the new one is 9". If I had one more hole in the adjuster I might have been able to use the 9" pig tail. I ended up ordering a custom made 7" pigtail. It will be interesting to see what you end up with.ultrarunner wrote: masthounds, pigtail, swivel, halyard pulley, forestay cable.
Boat sailed pretty darn nice last night. Thanks to all...
