The swingset has been re-purposed!
There is a yellow fairing compound that in spots is just over 1/4" thick. Around and through this is where most of the cracking is located. I will probably grind it off and build op with glass so the fairing compound is much thinner. It looks as though it was done like this from the factory and in my opinion should have been fixed correctly before it left the factory. There is gel under the fairing compound.
What have you guys found to be the best way yo remove the non-skid?
Thanks,
Ernie

Re: SC19 repaint/rebuild
Ernie...
Well since it has been just shy of a month since I removed mine, I'll give you what I used. Go to Wal-Mart and get 4 stripper wheels that go in your drill. I can post you a picture if you need. Also get a finishing sander square or round which ever you like. I found it easier to make squares out of large sheets of sand paper. I got the square one and lots of the gator 60 grit paper. A good set of eye protection glasses and a dust mask. Then go to town on it. You can see on my post the progress I am making on my SC19. You can get this stuff any where.
