Gentlemen,
I came across this post a few days ago and decided on the spot that this is a MUST DO event. Neve mind that I have only been sailing cats for 2 years and that my sailing has been exclusively on an old Supercat 17. I really need to do this race.
That being said, I need a new (used) boat. Ideally one that I can solo when this race is over so I think I am looking for a SC 19 or an ARC-21. Any thoughts on these choices? Can an ARC-21 be solo sailed?
Anyone from the great north want to join me on this trip?

Damn, that sounds like a bast. I would join you but I am going on a cruise at that time. Let us know how that goes!
