Got the SC22 back in action after a repair hiatus. Have sailed it in a steady 8-10 mph breeze with my 14 year old daughter and just about 20mph with a seasoned cat sailor! Both times were just magic! What a truly incredible boat! It just telegraphs so well what it intends to do, not like the hobie ...

I think the operative term that makes this so cool is the "dead downwind" part. We cat speed freaks know how to reach, that is for sure. I saw this too and thought it was just too cool! More innovation the better!

I just used regular monofilament. about 80lb leader material. The crimps are the same as the ones used to make leaders for gamefish rigs.
